Why we built OnlineResumeAI
OnlineResumeAI was built out of frustration with existing resume tools: bloated editors, results locked behind paywalls, and little transparency about what happens to the personal and employment information people upload. We wanted a resume builder that is fast, clear about what it does with your data, and doesn’t hold your own resume hostage behind a paywall.
Our approach to privacy
Building a resume means sharing real personal details — employment history, phone numbers, email addresses, and sometimes a home address. We treat that information accordingly: we don’t sell it, we don’t show advertisements, and we keep only what’s needed to build, save, and manage your resumes. Files submitted to the ATS Checker are processed in memory and discarded when the request completes; they are never written to disk or logs.
