About these terms

These terms explain the rules for using OnlineResumeAI. Please read them before creating an account or using the service.

By using OnlineResumeAI, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who can use the service

You must be at least 16 years old to use OnlineResumeAI. If you have not reached the age at which you can legally agree to these terms where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

If you use the service on behalf of another person or an organization, you must have permission to do so and to provide any information you enter or upload.

What the service provides

OnlineResumeAI provides tools for creating, editing, importing, and downloading resumes. Available features may include resume templates, formatting tools, and automated resume analysis.

OnlineResumeAI is a resume-building tool. It is not an employer, recruitment agency, or guarantee of employment.

Your account

You can begin building a resume without an account. An account is required to save resumes across devices and download them.

Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. Email sign-ups must confirm their email address before signing in.

If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, change your password and contact us through the feedback page.

Your content and ownership

You retain ownership of the resume content and files you provide. You are responsible for having permission to upload, use, and share that content.

You give OnlineResumeAI permission to store, process, format, and display your content only as needed to operate the service and provide the features you use. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

How we handle and retain your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Reviewing your resume

You are responsible for checking your resume before downloading, sharing, or submitting it. Make sure your contact details, employment history, education, skills, and qualifications are accurate.

Imported text, automated suggestions, and formatting may contain errors or omissions. Review the final document and correct any mistakes before using it.

Do not use the service to invent qualifications, impersonate another person, or submit misleading information.

Resume analysis and employment outcomes

Resume scores, keyword comparisons, and applicant tracking system (ATS) checks are estimates intended to help you review your resume.

Employers and applicant tracking systems use different methods to evaluate applications. We do not guarantee that a resume will pass a particular screening process, receive a specific score, result in an interview, or lead to employment.

Uploads, storage, and downloads

Only upload files that you own or have permission to use. Do not upload malicious files or personal information you are not authorized to provide.

Upload limits and supported file types may apply. Some documents may not import correctly because of their formatting, structure, or contents.

Guest drafts depend on your browser’s local storage and may be lost if that storage is cleared or you switch devices. Uploaded files are subject to the retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.

Keep your own copy of important documents. Check downloaded resumes for content and layout before submitting them.

Acceptable use

Use OnlineResumeAI lawfully and in a way that respects other people’s rights.

You must not attempt to access another person’s account or private information, bypass access restrictions, introduce malware, or interfere with the service.

You must not use automated activity to overload the service, evade usage limits, create abusive accounts, or collect other users’ information.

You must not upload or distribute unlawful content or content that infringes another person’s privacy or intellectual property rights.

Templates and website materials

You may use the templates and editing tools made available to you to create resumes, and you may download and share those resumes with employers and other intended recipients.

This permission does not give you ownership of OnlineResumeAI’s branding, website design, software, or underlying template assets. You may not resell or redistribute those assets as a separate product without permission, except where permitted by law or an applicable license.

Paid features

If paid features are introduced, their prices, included features, payment terms, and any subscription, cancellation, or refund conditions will be shown before you purchase.

Creating an account or using a free feature does not by itself authorize a payment. Any purchase requires your agreement to the applicable payment terms.

Service availability and changes

We aim to keep OnlineResumeAI available and working reliably. Access may sometimes be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems, security issues, or events outside our reasonable control.

We may update features to improve the service, address security concerns, or meet legal requirements. Where reasonably possible, we will provide advance notice of changes that materially reduce functionality or affect access to saved content.

Any changes affecting a purchased service will also be subject to the terms agreed at purchase and applicable consumer law.

Suspension and account closure

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a serious breach of these terms, protect users or the service, investigate suspected unauthorized access, or comply with legal requirements.

Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be necessary for urgent security or legal reasons.

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account through Account settings. Data deletion and retention are explained in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, security requirements, or applicable law. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.

For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice and request your agreement where required by law. Changes will not remove rights relating to events that occurred before they took effect.
