Software Engineer Resume Guide for Fresh Graduates in Pakistan
Applying for your first software engineering role in Pakistan starts with showing what you can build. A clear resume should connect your degree, final-year project and technical skills to the vacancy, even if you have no paid work experience.

1. Choose a readable structure for your first tech resume
Start with contact details, a short target-role summary, technical skills, projects and education. Move a relevant internship higher if it is your strongest evidence. One page is a useful starting point, not an employer-wide rule; follow the vacancy's instructions.
Use a single-column layout, conventional headings and selectable text as a baseline. These are illustrative writing examples, not verified results. Do not add a speed-improvement percentage because an example sounds impressive. If you did not measure performance, describe the feature, test or documentation you delivered.
3. List supported skills, not every popular tool
Group the tools you can discuss in an interview. For a React and Node.js project, a concise list might be JavaScript, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL and Git. Add Python, Docker or AWS only when your work supports them.

4. Check the employer's process and compare actual offers
